Indochino Summer Sale - Full selection now available

Indochino just decided to stock up their Summer Sale page with a number of new items. There are a ton of suits (most of them lighter summer suits) up for sale now, most of them for around 20% off. The sale of course includes shirts and accessories as well. Worth taking a look if the new Fall Collection seems too pricey - or wait until they show up on the Sales page (I'll let you know).

The Anatomy of an Indochino Suit & Mantorii Custom Footwear Sale

Indochino has released a nicely done overview on their suits today, including some interesting details.  With all the complaints about price increases, we tend to forget that Indochino has come a long way and improved a ton of important details on their suits. We all know their construction method is proper half canvas by now, which greatly improves the drape of the suit. Bemberg lining is another important factor, especially as temperatures start rising and summer is not far off - don't forget about the half-lining options (available on their blazers and I think on request on suits too) either. 

Also check out the ongoing Indochino Sale, there are still some were good bargains to be made. 

In other news, Mantorii is running an interesting promo, you can get 20% off with the coupon code specialsale. As you may know, Mantorii has recently been acquired by Australian suit makers InStitchu and they have been improving their shoes significantly over the past few months. I'm about to get another pair soon and will follow up with a review.

Chinese New Year is a huge celebration in SE Asia, here in Vietnam life comes to a standstill for 2 weeks and most shops are closed - I am sure the situation is very similar in China itself. Those who can afford it return to their home cities and villages and spend a few days catching up with their relatives (and eating and drinking as much as they can). Many retailers use the event to announce a sale and luckily for us, Indochino is no different.

Essential Suits are not very often on sale, so the $50 discount is certainly welcome and eases the pain of the recent price increases and taxes a little bit. You can save even more ($150) on Indochino's premium suits which are now on sale for just $499 - and that's actually a very tempting price, I have to say.

Indochino Sale Alert: Get your Winter outfit for 10% - 50% less!

I feel a little change in strategy coming up, didn't personally expect any bigger deals until Black Friday 2013 later in November. However, I am happy to see I was wrong! After we had a couple of lukewarm deals, Indochino announced a proper Sale today and significantly discounted a number of absolutely great suits, blazers and accessories. Usually, we see discounts on suits that are out of season, but this time the sale is actually on the latest collection and the suits will be perfect for late winter.

Indochino October Sales Category 1 - 2-piece Suits and Blazers - 20% off
Get a number of great Tweed and Flannel Suits (see images) for just $399 instead of $499. The cheapest blazer now goes for just $279.

Indochino October Sales Category 2 - Accessories up to 50% off
Indochino had introduced a number of completely new items with their last collection and many of these are now heavily discounted. Cashmere lined leather gloves are now $58 instead of $89 (almost 35% off) and their flat caps have been reduced by 50% to just $35.
